DEIR EL QAMAR
The name means “The Convent of the Moon” and was previously known as “Dar Al Qamar,” which translates to “The Abode of the Moon.” It is named after a Roman temple dedicated to the moon, situated at the site of the present convent and the church Saidt El Talle.
