Day 1: Arrival to Bangkok

Upon arrival to the Airport, take the nearest EXIT to your luggage belt. To your left your transfer assistant should be waiting for you. (In case you cannot find your transfer assistant, please approach an ATTA counter for help (near gates #6 and #10) OR call our 24 hrs Customer Care number on +66 (0) 81 867 2806)

Day 2/3/4: Bangkok

Day 5: Bangkok – Ayuthaya – Sukhothai

After having breakfast, you will meet your guide and driver and will head to:

  • North of Bangkok to Ayutthaya to discover the magnificent ruins and ancient temples in the historical park.
  • Then, Sukhothai, Thailand’s first capital, founded in the 13th century. Visit Sukhothai Historical Park.
  • See the main sites of Wat Mahathat, Wat Sri Chum, Wat Sri Sawai, War Sra Sri, Wat Trapang Ngoen, Wat Sri Chum.
  • Viharn and Mondop
  • OPTION: Bike riding around the historical grounds is possible as a supplement, a nice and easy way to stroll around the ruins!

Day 6: Sri Satchanalai / Baan Na Tonchan

  • Visit Si Satchanalai Historical Park on the bank of the Yom River north of Sukhothai
  • Visit the main sites including several temples, as well as the Celadon Kiln Site Study and Conservation Center at Ban Ko Noi, some 4 kilometres to the north of Si Satchanalai.
  • Afternoon, you will discover the 2012 PATA Gold Award Winning Project’s tourist attraction in Si Satchanalai District, in the Heritage and Culture category, “Ban Na Thon Chan Community”
  • You will have a chance to visit the local families and befriend with them.
  • Nearby the community is the Elephant Sanctuary for tortured, neglected and abandoned elephants
  • Lunch and dinner at leisure

Day 7: Sukhothai – Lampang – Lamphun – Chiang Mai

  • Drive to Chiang Mai through Lampang and Lamphun, stopping on route to see Wat Phra That Lampang Luang, one of Thailand’s most beautiful temples. Wat Haripoonchai in Lamphun is thought to be one of Thailand’s oldest wooden structures, dating back to 1486.
  • Lunch and dinner at leisure

Day 8: Chiang Mai

  • Pick up at 8:00. To: Doi Inthanon National Park, the most fertile natural treasures in Northern Thailand
  • Departure from Chiang Mai, 85 kilometers west to the park’s entrance. From here, we visit the summit where you may have a chance to see the Long Tailed Green Sunbirds which are particular to this part of Thailand.
  • Then we will take a nature walk along Ang Ka Trail which passes through a lush valley of moss cover tress, wild orchids and streams.
  • We continue by car to visit the Twin Chedi’s built by the Thai Air Force to honor King Bhumibol and Queen Sirikit.
  • We will then take a short walk around a small Hmong market, and stop to enjoy a delicious local lunch.
  • We end the day with a very scenic stop at Wachiratharn Waterfall.

Day 9: Chiang Mai

Morning : HD Kanta Elephant Sanctuary – Morning (incl. Transfer) (join activities )

06.30 -07.00 am Pick up from your hotel.

07.30 am Drive approximately 50 Mins North of Chiang Mai through rolling hills, forest, and local farming areas.

08.30 am Arrive at Kanta Elephant Sanctuary. Walk through and learn about the elephants, change into traditional clothing and prepare fruits for our elephants.

09.00 am Meet the elephants. Feed, interact, and play with the elephants in a natural environment and get muddy as you learn about their behavior and history. Take photos with the elephants.

10.00 am Walk with the elephants to a river and wash them.

11.00 am Get some tea, coffee and season fruit then say goodbye to the elephants.

Leave Kanta Elephant Sanctuary and drive approximately 50 Mins back to Chiang Mai. Drop off at your hotel.

Please Note: At the Sanctuary, we will allow you to spend as much time as possible with the elephants. Therefore, there is no formal schedule and aside from pick-up times, the times shown here are approximations
